A church chair with one broken leg. A piece of driftwood found on the beach at La Ciotat, France. Two fragments of different lives and times, brought together in an object that evokes resilience and kindness.

 

This chair is reborn thanks to five small dowels that connect the driftwood to the old frame and form a new leg, at the crossroads of past and present.
